1. What is a Data Center?

Sophisticated data centers like these are usually reserved for the most mission-critical tasks.
In recent years, there has been a trend towards virtualization. The modern data center is not limited to a centralized facility; instead, it may be a combination of physical infrastructure and cloud computing resources.
